International Childhood Cancer Day is Observed February 15th. We had hoped that we would be able to announce this special community initiative on that day. Our kiln might have delayed the timing, but not the seniment! We are delighted to share our support to Helping Families Handle Cancer who's efforts are focused on supporting families facing childhood cancer.

We’re honoured to share our support to Helping Families Handle Cancer. Helping Families Handle Cancer Foundation is a Canadian registered charity that supports families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis by easing the financial burden that often comes with treatment. Their goal is to reduce stress so parents can focus on being present with their child rather than worrying about everyday expenses. Donations are used to provide immediate, practical assistance for essentials like groceries, rent, utilities, transportation, and hospital-related costs, often coordinated quickly through hospital social workers. The charity also offers bereavement boxes for families who have lost a child and provides scholarships and bursaries for oncology parents and siblings, ensuring support continues beyond treatment and into long-term healing.
