All of our mugs are handmade so they do vary in size. We do our best to keep them in this range.

  • EVERY PRODUCT IS UNIQUE

    This mug is lovingly created on the wheel and then the features are built on by hand. Since all of our mugs are built one at a time, no two mugs are exactly the same. Our mugs are also hand painted adding to the unique design on every mug. You may be able to see our hands at work in the brush strokes of the glaze. You may also notice some texture in spots. This is part of our handmade quality and the uniqueness to every piece.

  • RETURN POLICY

    Some Limited Edition Items cannot be returned or exchanged, see product description above. If item is permitted for return, we request that the original item to be returned to us in original condition before any refund or exchange is completed. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Shipping costs back to the original purchaser for an exchanged item will be covered by Salty Sea Dog Designs

The Mugnificent Puffin!

This mug is absolute perfection. If I could come up with one word to describe this functional art - it would be THOUGHTFUL. You can see the care put into every little detail. The sculpting, the painting, every little mark. Also - the mug handles may be the best I’ve ever held. Wow.
Do yourself (or someone you love) a favour and buy a mug!!

I LOVE IT

The details on this puffin are insane. From his little feet to his beautiful colors I could not be happier that this was the Salty Sea Dog mug that made it's way to my cabinet. 10/10 Tea does taste better in a fun mug.

Puffin Perfection!

Oh, how I love my new puffin mug! The details are amazing - I love the colors and the tiny little webbed feet. The handle is so comfortable. Having coffee out of this mug will be delightful.

AMAZING for sore hands

This was my ?? Mug from SSD (I have a lot and have lost track ok) and I have to say this is my favourite for days when my hands are very sore. The beak gives that extra bit to hold onto and it makes it easier to deal with hand tremors etc. Also the design is cute, shipping as always is amazing, and I've NEVER had a problem with washing any of my mugs with cleaning etc.
